A proud Queenslander, Kristy has been a force on the water—dominating local tournaments, claiming the World U17 Overall Championship in Canada, and delivering standout performances at Moomba and the Aussie-Kiwi Challenge. But it’s not just her podium finishes that set her apart. Kristy is a highly respected trick judge, a generous coach and mentor, and someone you’ll always find helping out behind the scenes at tournaments. After a serious illness last year, Kristy made an incredible comeback—showing us all what grit, heart, and determination really look like. Congratulations to our outstanding Queensland waterskiers who showcased exceptional talent at the Aussie/Kiwi Challenge – Oceania Junior Championships in Bridgewater, Victoria!  Emma Wright – Secured 2nd place in Under 14 Girls Slalom and 5th in Jump.  Selina Appleton – Achieved 3rd in Under 14 Girls Slalom, 1st in Tricks, and 1st in Jump.  Sienna McCarthy – Placed 6th in Under 14 Girls Slalom and 4th in Tricks. Taj Reeves – Earned 2nd in Under 14 Boys Slalom, 4th in Tricks, and 1st in Jump.  Zarhli Reeves – Dominated with 1st place in Under 17 Girls Slalom and 2nd in Jump.  Kristy Appleton – Excelled with 2nd place in Under 17 Girls Slalom, 1st in Tricks, and Jump.  Dylan Wright – Topped the podium with 1st place in Under 17 Boys Slalom. Callum O’Connor – Showed strong performances across multiple events.
